The works of Ernest Wong represents his passion for woodworking, material and form. Each piece within this diverse body of work shows an intimate relation with making, a sympathetic use of materials and expressive engagement with shape.

Inspired by nature. His aim to create objects that enhance the relation between individuals and the environment. Capturing the emotional aspect that nature has on humans-memories, excitement, and serenity into an interior space. Through various woodworking techniques, joinery and materials, Ernest aims to expand on his knowledge to push the boundaries of traditional crafting. Ernest Wong is a graduate student of Sheridan College, with his expertise and major in Craft and Design (Furniture).
